Introduction of OPG Series
 
Gel Tubular OPG batteries are designed of 15 years life time. We use two ways to protract the life time of OPG series batteries: one of them is using the tubular plates, and the second is making the innovative combination of materials in alloy.  Both protect plates against of corrosion from the acid. At the same time the high concentration of tin in the alloy provide the ability of deep cycle of the OPG series. So, new OPG series has very good advantages in solar and wind applications.

In order to prolong the life time of batteries with low maintenance requirements, we are using the Advanced Tubular Plate Technology. The innovative OPG series batteries provide maximum efficiency per charge-discharge cycle and excellent reliability in remote, high temperature or unstable power installations for demanding commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential applications.

 

The batteries provide reliable energy storage for backup and telecom networks, auto roads, rail traffic signaling systems, solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy applications.

  • Long life design and free of maintenance

Gel Tubular OPG series of batteries are long life design and free of maintenance. Normally in the alloy of plate, the percentage of tin is 0,8%. For these batteries, we doubled the percentage of tin in the alloy. Also we change the percentage of Ca in this alloy. OPG series is tubular plate and gel electrolyte technology which is accordance with DIN 40742 (OpzV) standard. It can supply longer life than OPS series and better deep cycling use life. The cells also can be mounted horizontally or vertically, depending on requirements.

 

  • Valve regulated construction

Gel Tubular OPG series is the valve regulated sealed lead acid rechargeable type of batteries. The electrolyte is suspended in a specially formulated non woven glass mat separator. All the electrolyte is absorbed in this manner and provides a safe non-spillable battery.

 

  • Gas recombination system

The gasses generated in the normal charge/discharge use of a rechargeable battery are internally recombined during normal operating parameters. In the fact in normal operational use, more than 99% of the gasses generated are recombined.

 

  • Safety and automatic valve system

If the pressure is over 2-5 psi the safety valve will automatically open and reseal. The promise that there is no any excessive accumulation if gas in the battery.

 

  • Heavy duty grids

The grids are made by heavy duty lead calcium tin alloy. This provides: the safety margin of performance condition, excellent recovery capacity from deep discharge, extra service life in either cycle or float application, low self-discharge when it is not in working.

 

  • Float service life of battery

Gel Tubular OPG series batteries is designed for float life of 15 years at 20°C (68°F).

 

  • Operation in any position

Because the batteries are sealed and all the acid is absorbed in the special separators, these batteries can be operated in both vertical and horizontal position.

 

  • Wide operation temperature range

The batteries can be used in wide temperature range from -35°C to 45°C.

 

  • Available in flame retardant ABS material for the battery case V0

The batteries cases can be made by flame retardant material V0. It depends on the requirement of customer.
